This very low cost PICmicro Programmer/Debugger "ePK2lite" supports 5V devices and is powered from the USB port.
The devices supported by Microchip's PICkit2 are also supported by ePK2lite but 5V devices only.
The "ePK2lite" supports full speed USB programming thus reducing the programming time.
The devices are also identified automatically with PICkit2 software.
The programming and debugging can be through MPLAB while only programming can be done through PICkit2 software.
